Mission Summary
CASSM Foundation Global conducted a special outreach initiative at the Bustamante Hospital for Children in Kingston, Jamaica, to provide encouragement and support to children preparing for or recovering from open-heart surgery.
Led by Founder and Chairman Dr. Donovan Miles DIT, the visit focused on bringing comfort, hope, and emotional support to young patients and their families during a challenging period in their medical journey. Through the distribution of gifts and care packages, the Foundation sought to remind children and caregivers that they are supported by a broader community committed to their well-being.
The outreach reflected CASSM Foundation Global's commitment to advancing community health, strengthening family support systems, and improving quality of life for vulnerable populations across Jamaica.

During the visit, CASSM Foundation Global representatives spent time interacting with patients, parents, caregivers, and healthcare staff within the hospital environment.
Founder and Chairman Dr. Donovan Miles, DIT, distributed gifts and care packages to children receiving treatment and recovering from cardiac procedures. The initiative provided moments of encouragement and emotional support for patients facing significant medical challenges and lengthy recovery periods.
Beyond the gift distribution, Foundation representatives engaged with families, listened to their experiences, and shared words of encouragement. These interactions reinforced the importance of emotional well-being as a critical component of healing and recovery.
