Volunteer

CASSM missions are delivered by practitioners and volunteers who give their time and skills. If you would like to be part of an upcoming mission, add your name to our roster.

Before you sign up, a few things:

Signing up adds you to our volunteer roster. Not every mission calls on every volunteer. Deployments are matched to the skills and availability each one needs, so you may not be contacted for every opportunity.

Your information is used only to coordinate CASSM missions. We do not sell it, and we do not share it with third parties.

What to expect

CASSM coordinates each mission — the site, the schedule, the clinical setup, and the logistics of running the clinic on the ground.

Getting to Jamaica. Volunteers arrange and cover their own travel into Jamaica, including flights. CASSM is not responsible for the cost of international travel.

Once you are in Jamaica, we take it from there. Starting from our pickup point at 24 Parkington Plaza, Kingston, CASSM provides:

  • Round-trip ground transportation between Kingston and the mission site
  • Overnight accommodation at or near the mission site, where the mission requires it and subject to availability and group size
  • One meal per mission day, arranged with you in advance
  • Continental breakfast and snacks on site during the mission

What this does not cover. CASSM does not provide general accommodation in Jamaica. Housing is limited to the mission day and any overnight stay the mission itself requires. Transportation is limited to the round trip between 24 Parkington Plaza and the mission site. Any travel, lodging, or transport outside these arrangements remains your own.

We will confirm exactly what a specific mission provides before you commit to it, so there are no surprises.
